Are you passionate about driving transformative projects that positively impact the wider community? Hāpai is seeking a dedicated individual to spearhead our efforts in coordinating and managing projects focused on gambling harm prevention and minimization services. In this fulltime role, you'll have the opportunity to embrace a kaupapa Māori approach to health promotion, working closely with whānau, hapū, and iwi across Te Tai Tokerau & Tāmaki Makaurau.

Your mahi will involve a high degree of community engagement, as you liaise with local groups, drive community action, and raise awareness about gambling related harm. If you're ready to make a difference and support public health initiatives at the local and regional levels, then we want to hear from you

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako (skills & experience)**:

- Experience working in kaupapa Māori environments.
- Understanding of addictions, mental health, and hauora Māori
- Knowledge of Te Reo Māori & Tikanga Māori.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (preferred not essential)
- Established relationships or networks in the community.
- Excellent relationship building and management skills.
- Strong communication skills - presentation, written, and oral.
- Experience within the health sector and/or operating in social determinants of health.
