Provide full administrative and secretarial support at a senior level to the Acting Chief Executive Officer to ensure the smooth management of his day-to-day affairs and the most effective use of his time. Handle sensitive and complex issues in a professional and objective manner and take initiative as appropriate.
- In addition, it is intended that you will contribute to appropriate service delivery as a part of Hāpai Te Hauora Tāpui Ltd to reduce Māori health inequalities and disparities and improve the overall health status of te iwi Māori.
- Responsibilities will include;
- Undertaking the role of Board Secretary
- Payroll & Accounts Payable Processing
- File Management
- Providing support to the greater Admin team when required
- General Administration

- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar role supporting high-level executives or dignitaries.
- This role will require expertise in Kaupapa Māori and strong Te Reo me ōna Tīkanga.
- Typing speed of at least 120wpm with high accuracy and minimum 5 years dictation experience.
- Demonstrated facilitation, planning and coordination experience.
- Experienced in kaupapa Māori approaches and an empathy for own and other cultures.
- Familiar with the Whānau Ora outcomes framework.
- A demonstrated and proven experience of working with whanau.
- High energy, innovation, self-motivation and enthusiasm, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- High level of report writing and developed analytical skills.
