Our client is a people-centred government organisation, whose mahi is centred on helping New Zealanders be safe, strong and independent. They are looking for a Digital Communications Manager to lead, support and develop a great team of digital advisors and content writers, based in their Wellington office.

You will need to be creative yet practical, strategic yet willing to roll up your sleeves and support your team to make it happen.

This is a key leadership role within the wider Service Delivery Communications team.

**Key requirements of this role include**:

- Experience leading, supporting and developing a team
- A demonstrated track record in developing and implementing successful digital communication strategies and plans
- An enquiring and curious mind to act on a vision and turn it into reality

- A strong focus on the needs of your audience, including accessibility needs
- Pragmatic problem-solving approaches
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Proven experience delivering quality work to tight deadlines
- The ability to manage priorities across multiple workstreams
- A passion for helping New Zealanders lead better lives

This is a fast-paced environment offering great variety and satisfying challenges. You will be part of a collaborative, supportive group of communications professionals working closely with service design, operational delivery teams and IT colleagues.
