The Opportunity:
The Change Management Practice Lead is pivotal to the successful delivery of AIA’s strategic initiatives having responsibility for embedding an enterprise change culture and framework into AIA NZ, through the delivery life cycle within the Portfolio Delivery Office

About the role:
Leadership and Team Management- Provide continuous change management oversight of all key initiatives with a focus on supporting programme/project managers and business owners to demonstrate doing the right thing in the right way.- Coach change managers, business owners, and sponsors on implementing change management strategies in their projects and across the delivery portfolio.- Identify the structures, processes, systems, leadership and people capabilities required to realise benefits and achieve outcomes.- Influence, coach and guide senior leaders to successfully implement change in their business areas.

Change Management Capability- Create and embed a change management framework and culture, including the creation of policies, change impact and business readiness templates, and other change related documentation as required- Report enterprise-wide change impacts and plans to executives and other key stakeholders and forums in order to support portfolio and initiative prioritization.- Working with delivery projects/programmes and teams to identify change impacts across a range of projects and initiatives.- Ensuring that those impacted by change are ready, willing and able to implement the shifts required to deliver the identified business outcomes.- Working with the People and Culture team to support the people aspects of change.- Identifying the risk and compliance impacts of change and manage them in line with our risk framework.- Maintaining a customer-first approach in any change process.

Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned in order to meet reasonable operational and/or other requirements of the organization

About you:
- 10+ years of experience in change management with relevant experience in similar or related position.- Agile Certification (desirable)- Extensive experience in working closely with senior executives as well as preparing information for and presenting to, senior leaders.- Experience in the insurance/financial services industry (desirable)- Demonstrated experience in working with both Waterfall and Agile principles and practices, including an understanding of the value of individuals and interactions over processes and tools and the importance of collaboration- Experience and demonstrated understanding of iterative development and delivery- End to end experience in execution of change implementation, software development lifecycle and methodology as well as and project delivery- Broad understanding of business practices and ability to quickly understand the business, their challenges, strategy, key stakeholders and influences- Ability to learn rapidly from internally and outside the insurance industry- Ability to develop and implement breakthrough practices and procedures- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent communications skills both verbal & written- Proven experience presenting and working with prospective and existing clients/partners, vendors and other external stakeholders- Ability to learn systems and new technologies and adapt to in-place procedures and ability to pro-actively plan- Demonstrated business and commercial acumen with an enterprise view. High level of financial literacy to be able to develop and explain numbers presented
