Are you looking for a challenging role where you can utilize your communication skills to support customers in managing their debt? Heartland Bank Limited is seeking an experienced Debt Recovery Specialist to join our Auckland team.

About the Role

We are a financial services group with a strong presence in New Zealand and Australia. As a Debt Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls from customers with overdue accounts, responding to customers to make arrangements to repay arrears, and liaising with internal departments to deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customers with overdue accounts to discuss repayment options and arrangements.
  • Loading and monitoring arrangements within the Heartland Bank's Collections systems.
  • Liaise with internal customers and external introducers to solve customer needs.
  • Promote digital solutions and assist clients with their digital journey.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in a collections or customer service environment. A tertiary education is not necessary, but you must be eager to learn and grow with our company.
