**What you will be doing**
Reporting to the Claims Recoveries Manager, the Recoveries & Settlements Specialist will support the team to minimize impact of claims costs for Tower which in turn, keeps insurance affordable for our customers.
**Dive into the Heart of Your Responsibilities**:
- Seek to recover costs from both third-party insurers and uninsured third parties in the shortest possible timeframe with the intention of maximising the chance of a successful recovery.
- Use your negotiation skills to reach an agreeable settlement whilst mitigating the chance of entering a litigation process.
- Pursue the recovery of claims right through to Disputes Tribunal if you have not been able to reach an agreeable settlement
- Refer files that have not had successful contact to third party agents and assist them with any inquiries they may have in their attempts to make contact
**What You'll Need**
To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate the following:
- 2 years' experience in the Insurance or Financial Services Industry preferred.
- Experience of Recoveries, Settlement or Disputes Tribunal proceeding is an advantage.
- Frontline or contact centre experience.
- An understanding of Insurance liability
