We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Physician in Geriatric Medicine to join our team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Tai Tokerau.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality medical care to older patients across Northland, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve health outcomes for Māori patients.
- Collaborate with community rehabilitation teams, nurse specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Contribute to the development and expansion of our geriatric service, including hospital-based and community-based care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in geriatric medicine.
