We are seeking a skilled Employment Specialist to join our team in Whangarei, Northland. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the local labour workforce by placing people into work and building relationships with employers.

About the Role

This is a permanent opportunity starting on 20 January 2025. You will be working alongside Case Managers and other Service Centre colleagues to ensure sustainable employment outcomes are achieved. Your key duties will include working with employers to establish and promote vacancies, completing recruitment processes, and providing in-work support to clients placed in employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with employers to establish and promote vacancies, complete recruitment process and support induction.
  • Educate employers on details of our Products and Services.
  • Work with colleagues across the region to connect clients to seasonal and permanent work available in the region.
  • Provide in-work support to clients placed in employment.
  • Ensure that internal systems are kept up to date, recording all interactions with employers and clients.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a range of benefits, including training and development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and access to our employee assistance programme.
