About UsBadminton Oceania is a Continental Confederation working closely with the Badminton World Federation to implement development programmes and events in the Oceania Region. We have a strong partnership with 17 Member Countries.
The Executive Board leads our organisation, overseeing the work of five full-time and two part-time staff. Our headquarters are located in Ellerslie, Auckland, New Zealand.
We are seeking an individual to fill a permanent part-time role as Administration and Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations, financial administration, travel bookings, and IT systems management. They will also support the Secretary General and liaise with the Executive Board as required.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial administration, including Xero accounting software and payroll
- Oversee travel and accommodation bookings
- Ensure all IT systems are functioning correctly
- Maintain smooth and efficient processes
- Support the Secretary General and liaise with the Executive Board
Qualifications and Experience
- Proficiency in financial management
- Experience in Xero accounting software and payroll
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Able to prioritise workload and maintain high standards
- Previous experience in sports or not-for-profit organisations desirable
