Role Description

This part-time role involves providing comprehensive support services to families, focusing on their independence and self-determination. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, providing tailored supports to meet the unique needs of each family.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a supportive environment that prioritises the family's aspirations and encourages their independence.
  • Assist tamariki or rangitahi in accessing education and maintaining their active participation in daily living.
  • Monitor and respond to health concerns or support the overall health and wellbeing of the young person.
  • Collaborate with the family to develop and implement tailored supports that cater to their unique needs and goals.
  • Provide simple and flexible supports to enhance the family's life and promote their independence.

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with diverse groups and cultures.
