Job Description
This Support Worker role involves visiting clients in their homes to provide a range of personal cares, including showering, dressing, medication management, and assistance with community activities. You will work collaboratively with clients to deliver support in line with their agreed care plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality support and care to clients in their homes
- Manage medication and perform wound dressings
- Prepare meals and assist with home maintenance
- Accompany clients to community activities
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A New Zealand driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to read English instructions and speak clearly to clients and colleagues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
