**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Community Support Worker to join our team at Te Kupenga Hauora - Ahuriri.

The successful candidate will work directly in the community, delivering the Family Start program to support whānau in their homes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Visiting families weekly to deliver the program and make follow-up checks
  • Gaining the trust of families and getting them on board
  • Maintaining a fine balance between connecting with families and knowing when to refer them on

Requirements:

  • Level 7 Diploma or Degree qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Experience in community work and building relationships with support agencies and families
