Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Family Start Worker, responsible for delivering our Family Start programme in Napier City. This position involves working closely with families in their homes, providing guidance and support on parenting skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Delivering the Family Start programme in Napier City, including weekly visits to families and follow-up checks.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with support agencies and families.
- Balancing the need to connect with families while ensuring they receive necessary referrals when required.
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, applicants must possess:
- A Level 7 Diploma or Degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Teaching, or Nursing.
- Significant experience in community work and relationship-building with support agencies and families.
