Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Family Start Worker, responsible for delivering our Family Start programme in Napier City. This position involves working closely with families in their homes, providing guidance and support on parenting skills.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Delivering the Family Start programme in Napier City, including weekly visits to families and follow-up checks.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with support agencies and families.
  • Ensuring a balanced approach, connecting with families while providing necessary referrals when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, applicants must possess:

  • A Level 7 Diploma or Degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Teaching, or Nursing.
  • Substantial experience in community work and relationship-building with support agencies and families.
