About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Business Development Manager within our Vero Central Region team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving regional growth and profitability by managing new and existing intermediary relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Developing and executing region-specific sales strategies to meet business objectives and deliver customer value.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with intermediaries and other stakeholders.
  • Providing expert advice on Vero Insurance products and services to intermediaries and other stakeholders.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery of customer-centric solutions.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years Commercial General Insurance experience
  • A strong sales and solutions-focused approach
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Great time management and forward planning approach and ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Professional insurance exams (ANZIIF)
