About the Opportunity

Reporting to, and working collaboratively with the General Manager, you will lead initiatives that foster and strengthen volunteer relationships and ensure all volunteer engagements result in meaningful and rewarding experiences for our volunteers.

You will enhance communication, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and valued. Your insight into the challenges faced in the volunteer environment will help shape improvements in support and services for our volunteers and members.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the key link between our national team and volunteers
  • Provide support through regular communication and site visits
  • Develop and guide our zone leaders in decision-making
  • Promote available resources
  • Ensure local community needs
  • Manage any public or member complaints

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Wellington. We offer a company car and carpark, along with flexible hybrid working arrangements, enabling you to manage your workload and schedule while working both from the comforts of your own home and one (1) day in the office each week.
