About the Role
This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving business development and partnerships with Global System Integrator (GSI) partners. The successful candidate will lead our GSI alliances strategy, working closely with partners throughout their sales cycles and across their sales organizations to make Canonical a trusted partner in delivering open-source solutions at scale for their enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic go-to-market plan to drive revenue growth through GSI partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with GSI partners at executive levels
- Lead a team of representatives to ensure successful partnership execution
- Work closely with product management, product marketing, and global sales organization to guide our offering and scale it through the support of our global sales organization
Requirements
- Experience in alliance and indirect sales management roles
- Deep commercial experience encompassing revenue and margins
- Proven leadership and presentation skills
- Insight into open source, Ubuntu, and Canonical's competition and opportunities
- Track record of data-driven decision-making
- Autonomous, disciplined, hands-on approach
