Centre Manager Position at Lots Of Hugs

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to join our team as a Centre Manager at Lots Of Hugs in Feilding, New Zealand.

About Us

Lots Of Hugs is a purpose-built childcare centre that offers a supportive and nurturing environment for children. We believe in providing ongoing professional development and support from our dedicated management team.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $120k+, which includes Full Pay Parity PLUS KPI INCENTIVES. Additionally, we offer full payment of Teacher Registration costs, paid First Aid Course, discounted Childcare Fees, and leadership development opportunities.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Centre Manager who can further develop and lead our team to deliver best-practice childcare services. The ideal candidate will have:

  • BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills
  • Superb communication skills
  • Previous leadership experience is a must

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of an innovative service and grow professionally with plenty of ongoing professional development and mentoring.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An inspirational leadership style
  • Familiarity with the New Zealand Education Council, ERO, MOE requirements, Licensing Criteria, 2008 Regulations and Code of Ethics
  • A comprehensive understanding of how to maintain and grow occupancy levels
