We are seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Manager to lead our team at Learning Adventures Levin. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our tamariki (children) and their whānau (families).

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position that will see you leading a team of dedicated Kaiako (teachers) in providing high-quality education and care to children aged 0-5 years.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our centre operates in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, while also fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of our tamariki.

As Centre Manager, you will have a strong commitment to equity and will work to create a culture of inclusivity and respect within our team and community.

This role offers a competitive salary package, including full pay parity, paid registration and first aid, and discounted childcare for your own tamariki.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about early childhood education, has a strong understanding of ECE principles and practices, and can demonstrate effective leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Kaiako to deliver high-quality education and care programs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the development of our tamariki.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the growth and well-being of our tamariki and their whānau.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to achieve common goals and objectives.
