We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team in Wellington, New Zealand. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial advice to our executive leadership and ensuring the effective management of our financial resources.

Job Description

As the Financial Manager, you will:

  • Provide financial information and advice to senior leaders and budget managers
  • Manage our financial reporting to Treasury requirements
  • Ensure that all financial information and advice adhere to GAAP and NZ IFRS standards

You will also lead a team of accountants and accounts payable professionals, ensuring we run smoothly as an organisation and meet our reporting requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in preparing financial information and associated processes
  • Up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting standards, including GAAP and NZ IFRS
  • The ability to undertake complex financial analysis
  • Knowledge and experience in financial management accounting systems
  • ICANZ CA membership or an equivalent qualification
