Financial Compliance Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled Financial Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our assurance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.
About the Role:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of high-risk areas to identify potential compliance gaps and recommend improvements.
- Liaise with business process leaders to ensure efficient and effective operations that meet regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to enhance compliance and customer service standards.
- Execute comprehensive reviews of non-nominated representatives and nominated representatives to confirm compliance with regulatory obligations and customer care expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and provide guidance to teams on compliance matters.
- Provide timely and accurate reports to senior management on compliance trends and areas for improvement.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Formal qualifications or extensive experience in delivering financial advice, preferably as a lender, or significant experience in AML/CFT assurance.
- Solid understanding of regulatory legislation relevant to the financial services sector.
- Over 5 years of experience in QA or a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills with the capacity to convey information effectively at all organizational levels.
- Ability to manage oneself and prioritize workload efficiently.
