As a Clinical Lead Veterinarian, you will be part of this team, working closely with veterinarians, veterinary nurses, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.

About the Role
This is an opportunity for a passionate small animal veterinarian to take on a leadership role at our clinic in Hamilton. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, previous leadership experience, and a passion for mentoring and developing others.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, managing surgical cases, and supporting the development and mentoring of the veterinary team. You will work closely with the Practice Manager to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient outcomes.

What We Offer
We offer a 4-day work week, limited weekend work, no after-hours/on-call, generous CPD allowance, paid study leave, and free access to our Veterinary Training Centre. You will also receive relocation allowance and Visa Sponsorship if applicable.

About Our Team
We are a positive and communicative team, with morning rounds, regular all-in team meetings, and a strong focus on collaboration and continuous improvement. Our clinic boasts four consult rooms, two surgical theatres, a large treatment room, and advanced equipment including digital x-ray units, IDEXX blood machines, and ultrasound.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a BVSc or equivalent, be registered or eligible to register to practice in New Zealand, and possess strong clinical skills, leadership experience, and a passion for mentoring and developing others.
