Key Responsibilities

This is a unique opportunity for someone to make a significant contribution not only to the organization but also contribute to the future of Hamilton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and support to their team, optimizing the performance and productivity of the administration team, and actively supporting and developing positive and constructive relationships within the Regulatory Services Unit and City Safe and Resilience Unit and wider Group, Council staff and other key stakeholders.

Main Requirements
  1. Chartered accountant or relevant tertiary qualification in Business or Accounting.
  2. Experience with systems or implementation as you will be supporting some key digital projects.
  3. Minimum of 5 years' experience with an emphasis on strategic business decision making.
  4. An understanding and commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti O Waitangi.
  5. Proven Leadership experience.
  6. Well-developed communication skills including report writing capability.
