About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our City Safe Unit as a Safety Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a visible presence in public spaces, engaging with members of the public, and working closely with businesses to promote compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a visible presence in public spaces to deter nuisance behavior
  • Engage with members of the public to provide assistance and guidance
  • Work with businesses to promote compliance with safety regulations
  • Deal with anti-social and nuisance behavior in a fair and effective manner

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Flexible, responsive, and able to think on your feet
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confidence and professionalism
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
