Wellington, Wellington, New Zealand Engineering New Zealand Te Ao Rangahau Full time

Supporting our mission

At Engineering New Zealand Te Ao Rangahau, our mission is to champion a diverse, resilient and future-focused engineering profession. We believe that engineering has the power to improve lives and make a positive impact on the world. As the Complaints & Legal Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our legal team and ensuring that our members are held to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the investigations and disciplinary processes, ensuring that they are carried out efficiently and fairly. This will involve working closely with our legal team, managing case allocations, and liaising with key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for preparing documentation bundles, maintaining accurate digital records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the complaints process.

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also be expected to provide secretarial support to committees, manage correspondence, and engage experts when needed. You will work collaboratively with volunteers, senior decision-makers, and the wider team to achieve our goals.

We are looking for someone who has a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You should have a background in administration, legal support, or complaints coordination and be able to thrive in a structured environment. You will need to be highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including unlimited wellbeing leave and 5 weeks annual leave. You will also have access to a professional development budget to support your aspirations, as well as opportunities to get involved in values-driven internal initiatives.
