Company Overview

The Independent Police Conduct Authority is a statutory body responsible for investigating complaints against the New Zealand Police and incidents where police actions have resulted in death or serious injury.

Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile Manager: Assurance to manage our investigation and assurance processes. This role involves leading a team of investigators and support staff who oversee and review Police investigations into complaints.

The team also includes our unit responsible for ensuring the Police's custodial facilities and practices meet international standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this key role, you will have had experience in a management or staff leadership role.

You will have advanced analytical skills and sound judgment, being decisive and action-oriented.

A background in law enforcement or knowledge of policing or other law enforcement operations is essential.

A background in investigations would be an advantage.
