Job Title: Optometrist - Dunedin

We offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Dunedin. As an Optometrist at OPSM, you will have the chance to work with cutting-edge technology, including Retinal Camera, Visual Field Analyser, Non-contact tonometer, Corneal Topographer, Optos UWDRS and OCT.

Your Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations for diverse customers, including children, contact lens wearers, and those requiring therapeutic care.
  • Recommend tailored lens solutions based on customer lifestyles, clearly explaining the features and benefits of various lens products, including coatings and extras.
  • Cultivate Graduate Optometrists in utilizing and recommending technology to customers.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and Managing Optometrists to maximize Eyecare revenue through efficient technology use, labor optimization, and appropriate Medicare billing.

Estimated Salary

$NZ 120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
