About the Role

The position sits with the Planning and Sector Partnerships Unit, responsible for partnering with social and infrastructure sectors to build resilience across risk reduction, readiness, response, and recovery in support of communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining New Zealand's national emergency management planning framework
  • Partnering with social and infrastructure sectors to build resilience
  • Responding to emergency activations as required
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with flexibility, adaptability, and ability to deliver high-quality work output under pressure. You must be able to manage without authority, ensure work gets completed effectively and on time, and make effective decisions in complex situations.
