Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Administration and Support Officer to join our Specialist Applications team in Wellington. As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative support for judicial services and technical expertise to the Maori Land Court and Maori Appellate Court.

About Us: At Te Tahu o te Ture - the Ministry of Justice, we are committed to strengthening people's trust in the law of Aotearoa, New Zealand. Our team provides judicial support to the Chief Judge of the Maori Land Court and technical expertise to the wider bench of the Maori Appellate Court.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for the Specialist Applications team
  • Manage correspondence, printing, and filing documents
  • Arrange travel and coordinate meetings
  • Engage with stakeholders and maintain effective communication
  • Assist with case management, land, title, and survey management
  • Support the Ministry's goal of promoting and assisting in the retention of Maori land in the hands of its owners
