We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Adviser Kaupapa Maori Supervisor. This role plays a crucial part in developing, implementing, and managing Kaupapa Maori supervision and practice delivery for program facilitators and psychologists.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with other managers to provide support for Kaupapa Maori supervision, ensuring that Kaupapa Maori elements of programs are effectively implemented, and advising the Psychology and Programmes National Office teams on Te Ao Maori methodologies.
Key responsibilities include guiding program design and practice to achieve positive outcomes for Maori, undergoing training in Te Ara Tauwhaiti (Kaupapa Maori cultural supervision framework), and co-facilitating training programs.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience or training in program facilitation, Maori cultural supervision, counselling, social work, or a related social service field. They will also have a solid understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (Treaty of Waitangi) and its application to Kaupapa Maori Practice.
The salary range for this position is $101,162 - $142,816.
