Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our Kahui Mauaka team as a Co-Ordinator for Kahui Mauaka Initiatives. In this role, you will provide administrative support, coordination, and co-ordination of initiatives led by Kahui Mauaka.
About the Role
- Support Kahui Mauaka to ensure Hato Hone St John effectively embeds the Aka Strategy across the entire organization
- Collaborate with Kahui Mauaka to ensure consistency of messaging, and translation of strategic intent into effective implementation
- Have an understanding of Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Whai Ora, their vision and strategic goals to ensure alignment with Hato Hone St John's journey forward with Maori Health Equity
Key Qualifications
- An understanding of te reo Maori and a desire to progress te reo Maori knowledge
- Previous lived experience working within te ao Maori or Hauora Maori
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Self-motivated; a strong team player with credibility
