About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Officer to join our team at Waikato Hospital. As a rural hospital, we offer a unique opportunity to provide quality care to our diverse community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality healthcare to our rural community
- Develop and grow your skills and scope of practice within the framework of a community and rural hospital-based service
- Have opportunities to work in the emergency department, on our medical ward, and fracture clinic
Requirements:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent qualification
- Eligibility for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Experience in providing quality care to rural and disadvantaged communities
