About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Community Support Worker to join our team in Thames. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide practical support to tangata whaiora who access our service and collaborate with clinical staff to deliver effective mental health care.

About the Job

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in delivering and supporting service users to maintain mental health and wellness
  • Provide support to clinical staff to deliver services
  • Work under the guidance and supervision of a registered health professional

About the Team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey
  • Experience working in mental health and addiction services
  • Well-developed time management skills
  • Computer literacy and ability to complete documentation
  • A current full driver's license
