Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Care Specialist to join our team at Amada Senior Care NorthShore. As a Senior Care Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with corporate companies within Florida, generating revenue and expanding our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. New Business Origination: Develop and maintain relationships to generate direct deal flow; coordinate the team approach to approving and closing new deals to grow assets and revenues while optimizing profitability (ROE).
  2. Relationship Management: Work with assigned portfolio managers, engage with borrowers on idea generation and relevant opportunities to expand our relationship, including new client generation, loan production, and fee income related to cross-sell products.
  3. Credit Quality: Work with assigned portfolio managers, ensure proactive monitoring of credit quality of the portfolio through timely financial statement gathering, monitoring client's compliance with ongoing required reporting, properly analyzing financial information, and taking or recommending appropriate corrective actions based on acceptable levels.
  4. Maintaining Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions that could impact the Corporate and Regional Commercial Banking group as a whole and the assigned portfolio of relationships and borrowers.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field required.
  2. Formal Credit Training preferred.
  3. 10+ years of Commercial financing or equivalent lending experience.
  4. Established relationships and demonstrated direct origination track record with relevant companies.
  5. Expertise in negotiating, structuring, and closing complex loans.
  6. Proven ability to generate significant cross-sell revenues.
  7. Strong analytical and credit skills.
  8. A high level of oral and written interpersonal and sales skills necessary to compete effectively, present proposals to clients, and recommend loan transactions to bank senior management.
  9. Expertise in due diligence, credit underwriting, and legal documentation.
  10. Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  11. Excels in a team environment.
  12. Mentor less experienced Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers as appropriate.
  13. Cross-sell banking services including treasury management, interest rate protection, and syndication products and capabilities (foreign exchange & commodity hedging is a plus).
  14. Recognize issues; early problem recognition, remedial management, and appropriate coordination with workout is an important part of ongoing portfolio management.
  15. Keep management fully informed on all key factors of the bank, the portfolio, client relationships, and the competitive environment.
  16. Involved in industry-related associations, committees, and boards outside of the bank (i.e., Special Olympics, etc.) that provide marketing and community services for the Bank.
  17. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance issues linked to the job and the team and understand how these issues help the bank achieve the vision of remaining an independent bank.
