Position Summary:

Aurora Health Care seeks a qualified Mental Health Professional LCPC or LCSW to join its team as a School Based Clinical Therapist. This role requires a therapist to provide counseling services and resource assistance to improve the social and psychological functioning of adolescents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual therapy, screening and assessments for identified families, brief interventions and referral to treatment
  • Coordinate with pediatricians, school personnel, community partners and allied therapists
  • Parent education and training, and clinical supervision of social work/counseling students and interns

Requirements:

  • Licensure: LCPC or LCSW issued by state of Illinois
  • Masters Degree
  • Five years clinical experience
