Territory Sales Manager - A Key Commercial Role

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for driving commercial results in your territory around Otago & Southland - NZ. You will support the BASF Agriculture business in achieving its strategic objectives through new business development for crop protection products and seed treatment sales as well as developing and implementing market plans to achieve sales targets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities in the region
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve business goals
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers and end-users
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on crop protection products and agronomic practices

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Relevant experience within sales or commercial roles, with experience in the agriculture market being highly regarded
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Self-motivation and initiative, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A strong understanding of agronomic principles and crop protection products, preferably with previous experience in this area
