**Job Description:**
We are looking for a skilled Development Manager to join our team and focus on raising funds for undergraduate scholarships through effective donor engagement and relationship management. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing substantial financial support and cultivating lasting relationships with donors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise philanthropic funds for undergraduate scholarships by developing and implementing a coordinated plan
- Engage with individual prospects and corporate partners to build relationships and secure significant gifts
- Collaborate with the Associate Director Development, senior leaders, and the ARD team to provide a comprehensive programme of recognition and engagement for major donors
- Manage a portfolio of scholarship donors and contribute to the development of strategic and annual operational plans for the scholarships fundraising function
Requirements:
- Strong fundraising experience or ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, happy to host events and engage with a varied group of stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Understanding of the tertiary environment, in the form of a Bachelor's degree or relevant tertiary qualification/work experience

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and organised individual with a passion for fundraising and relationship management. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
