Job Description

The Director of Major Gifts and Legacy will lead the strategy and implementation of major gifts and legacies programmes. You'll manage and mentor a team of four, fostering a culture of excellence in donor stewardship and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow major gifts and legacy income.
  • Build and nurture relationships with high-net-worth individuals, philanthropists, and legacy donors.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing fundraising team, setting clear objectives and driving results.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading and growing major gifts and legacy fundraising programmes, with a track record of securing significant donations.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to mentor and develop fundraising professionals.
