About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Taumarunui. As a Child Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of pepi and tamariki in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments on children from 4 weeks to 3 years old, identifying any potential developmental concerns.
  • Work closely with parents and caregivers to develop strategies for promoting healthy development and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.
Requirements
  • Hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate and a full clean NZ Driver's License.
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development, including completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Well Child Tamariki Ora.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and communities.
