Lead Immigration Compliance Specialist

The New Zealand Ministry Of Economic Development is seeking a Lead Immigration Compliance Specialist to join our team in Hamilton. This is a permanent full-time opportunity that requires a high level of performance under pressure.
The successful candidate will have experience in leading complex investigations and prosecutions, as well as excellent communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and planning complex investigations and prosecutions
- Supporting vulnerable complainants through the investigation process
- Mentoring and coaching team members
The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of NZ legislation and be able to apply it effectively in investigation and prosecution processes.
The role involves developing trust and credibility with managers and fellow staff, as well as being able to gain and maintain a national security clearance.

- Tertiary qualification, preferably in law enforcement
- Experience in investigation and prosecution related work
- Excellent communication skills
