Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Road Corridor Access Specialist to join our Transportation Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the Corridor Management Team and all third-party access activities within the district's road corridor network.
Key Responsibilities: Manage Service Plans, Corridor Access Requests, Temporary Traffic Management Plans, Works Access Permits, Warranties, and other activities requested by Contractors and other bodies wishing to undertake activities on our network corridor. Develop and implement strategies to minimise disruptions to road-users and stakeholders while efficiently supporting the development of our roading networks.
About Our Ideal Candidate: You will have 5-10 years relevant industry experience or technical field support experience, preferably in a compliance/engineering environment. You will have previous experience with Network and journey management, access control, the CAR process, and the use of RAMM. You will have demonstrable understanding of National Code of Practice for Utility Operators' Access to Transport Corridors and its requirements. You will have experience managing technical and professional staff, supporting coaching and development. You will have the ability to make rational judgments from available information and analysis; produces workable solutions to a range of problems.
