Data Reporting Manager

About the Position

This role sits within our Finance Optimisation team, playing a critical part in shaping and managing finance reporting and data systems. You'll develop strategy, enhance reporting frameworks, and drive system adoption to ensure finance processes deliver meaningful insights. With a focus on continuous improvement, you'll collaborate with key stakeholders to optimise financial data management and support business performance.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain the Finance Reporting and Data Strategy and Roadmap.
  2. Lead the delivery and support of reporting and data systems and processes.
  3. Establish and uphold finance reporting and data policies and procedures.
  4. Champion continuous improvement by optimising workflows and user experience.
  5. Collaborate with finance, technology, and business teams to align strategies.
  6. Drive implementation and adoption of reporting and data systems.
  7. Manage financial master data for accuracy and efficiency.

Essential Skills

  1. CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or a relevant business/information systems qualification.
  2. 6 years post-qualified experience in finance systems or accounting.
  3. Prior experience using Workday or Prism would be advantageous.
  4. Strong storytelling ability to communicate financial systems and processes.
  5. Expertise in financial reporting, data controls, and AI-driven tools.
  6. Proven understanding of financial management and IT applications.
  7. Project management experience in business systems and change initiatives.
  8. Skilled in indirect leadership and influencing key stakeholders.
  9. Experience in business systems support functions.
