We support a wide range of industries, including retail, finance, hospitality, and more, with operations all over the globe.Position ObjectiveWe are seeking a Graduate Reporting Analyst to support our data and reporting needs within the People Analytics team at our Auckland CBD office.
This role will assist in developing and maintaining business intelligence (BI) reports, liaising with different departments to understand their analytics requirements, and enhancing data literacy across the team.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and passionate about data analysis and visualization.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development of Power BI reports for various business needs, such as workforce management, employee productivity, and engagement analysis.Maintain and optimise existing BI dashboards to improve performance and usability.Collaborate with different teams to understand their reporting and analytics requirements, particularly in relation to people analytics and workforce data.Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources and internal databases.Support data validation, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reports.Conduct basic reporting and data literacy training for teams to enhance their ability to self-serve analytics needs.Create documentation and guides to help teams navigate reports effectively.Act as a key point of contact for ad-hoc reporting requests.Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency.Automate recurring data extraction and reporting tasks where possible.Assist in people analytics projects, including workforce planning, employee productivity analysis, and engagement reporting.Assist in other ad hoc requests.Major ChallengesIntegrating and harmonizing data from multiple sources to provide accurate, consistent, and reliable reports for the business.Effectively communicating and understanding the reporting needs of various departments to ensure analytics requirements are met, while managing expectations and prioritizing requests.Navigating the complexities of Power BI and other reporting tools while gaining a deep understanding of the business's data landscape, especially under time constraints.Identifying and implementing ways to streamline data extraction and reporting tasks, which may require balancing competing demands for time and resources across different teams.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or in a related field.Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Excel (DAX knowledge is a plus).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.What We Offer:Competitive remuneration package.Hybrid work model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home; the current policy is hybrid but this is liable to change any time at company's discretion).Flexible working hours.Opportunities for career growth and advancement.A collaborative and innovative work environment.On going training and supportAccess to the latest technologies and tools in the payment industry.Why Windcave:At Windcave, you'll be part of a team that's reshaping the landscape of payment solutions and services.
