Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Market Manager in marketing and sales activities and implementing HV business strategies.

  • You will contribute to the achievement of profitable and sustainable sales targets for the Business Unit portfolio in the Country.
  • You will support Account Managers in maximizing the value of their accounts and increasing account penetration.
Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support and quotations for High Voltage products to customers.
  • Developing a tendering strategy based on market intelligence and in-house experience and expertise.
  • Interpreting substation single line diagrams, substation layouts, Bill of materials, specifications, and other relevant documents of customers for bid preparation feasibility study - technical/strategic positioning, and commercial viability.
  • Gathering business and market intelligence to assist with sales strategy.
  • Monitoring the market and trends in the industry to develop and identify future customers and openings for Hitachi Energy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of Electrical Engineer experience.
  • Exposure to medium/large scale market analysis projects and strategic plans.
  • An understanding of contract law.
  • Technical competence (understanding software, hardware, networks, etc.).
  • Knowledge of electrical and automation technologies/industries.
