Awanui Group, a leading healthcare provider in New Zealand, is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to drive the growth of its My Tests business. About the Role

The Senior Product Manager - My Tests will be responsible for defining the strategy, prioritizing growth opportunities, and building new lines of business. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, customer centricity, and operational execution to drive organic growth both directly and through partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute a comprehensive strategy and roadmap to expand My Tests into new markets, informed by customer insights, market trends, and technology advancements.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize growth opportunities; develop business cases, financial models, and present recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Spearhead the development and launch of new products from concept to commercialization, collaborating closely with clinical, IT, logistics, and lab operations teams.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of new initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships and alliances, both internally (e.g., mobile collection) and externally (e.g., software partners), to enhance our value proposition and growth trajectory.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, business development, or related roles, preferably within the healthcare or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching new products or services and driving business growth.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of NZD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a supportive and inclusive work environment that values the growth, work-life balance, and personal well-being of its employees.
