The Pond, a leading ecommerce agency, is seeking an ambitious and experienced individual to drive business growth in the NZ and AUS markets. With over 6 years of sales and growth experience in ecommerce, technology, advertising, digital or media industries, this role requires a talented professional with industry-relevant expertise.

A key focus area will be developing and executing strategies to attract and convert new clients, focusing on ecommerce websites and supporting SaaS products. This includes implementing client retention strategies, driving initiatives to expand the commercial arm of the business, and collaborating with senior leadership to launch innovative digital products and SaaS offerings.

As a successful candidate, you will have a proven track record of building relationships with clients, stakeholders and contributors to enhance business growth and collaboration. You will also possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and analyse key performance metrics across all growth initiatives.

We are offering a competitive salary of around $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as flexible working hours, beautiful central Auckland offices, and opportunities for career advancement.   • Has a minimum of 6 years of sales, growth and business development experience
  • Has industry-relevant experience (Ecommerce, Technology, Advertising, Digital or Media)
  • Is well-networked and proven in their field

  • Reviewing and assessing the current business position to identify strengths, opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Developing and executing growth strategies to attract and convert new clients
  • Implementing client retention strategies to grow long-term relationships and maximise customer lifetime value
  • Driving initiatives to expand the commercial arm of the business, including developing partnerships and exploring new market opportunities
