The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Activities Assistant to join our team at St Kilda Care Home in Cambridge. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being of our residents. You will work closely with the Activities Coordinator to identify leisure activity needs, plan and implement individual and group activities programmes, and promote a homely environment. This is a permanent, part-time position working 48 hours per fortnight in rostered shifts – 6 hour shifts and alternate weekends. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with older adults and a commitment to delivering person-first care. About the Position:

As an Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for:* Participating in and contributing to both individual and group programme activities* Contributing to the review and assessment of residents' individual activities programmes* Promoting a homely, stimulating, and pleasant environment for residents and their families* Developing and maintaining excellent internal and external communication networks to support the activities programmeThe successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering person-first care and contributing to the Bupa team.
