**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Building Control Officer Processing to join our team in the Waikato region. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing building applications and ensuring compliance with current NZ Building Code legislation and NZ Building Code.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in our Thames office with flexible and remote working options. As a key member of our Building Unit, you will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with stakeholders and make a real difference in our community.

The ideal candidate will have good computer literacy and problem-solving abilities. They will also have an understanding of current NZ Building Code legislation and NZ Building Code, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing building applications in accordance with current NZ Building Code legislation and NZ Building Code
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on progress
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to clients
