Water Services Compliance Manager

Job Description Summary
This Water Services Compliance Manager position involves leading the delivery of compliance strategies and policies within the Infrastructure and Assets Group at the Hamilton City Council.
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing three waters compliance strategies and policies.
- Leading proactive and responsive inspections of non-compliance and breaches of consent conditions, Bylaws, management plans, and other relevant legislative requirements.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve compliance matters.
- Maintaining accurate records and providing regular updates on the status of investigations.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- New Zealand degree of Science or Engineering or equivalent.
- Current and clean NZ Drivers Licence.
- At least 5 years' experience in a regulatory compliance or other closely allied field of work.
- Knowledge with the Resource Management Act (RMA).
- Knowledge of water, wastewater, and storm water processes.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and implement compliance strategies and policies.
