Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Payroll Advisor to join our team at Ministry of Health. As a key member of our HRIS & Payroll team, you will be responsible for completing payroll activities, responding to payroll queries and providing resolutions to issues.

The successful candidate will have relevant payroll experience and a sound knowledge of payroll related systems. You will also possess excellent time management skills and be able to prioritise tasks effectively.

About the Company

We are the kaitiaki of the health system in New Zealand, providing leadership and driving strategy and performance. We regulate the health sector and are the primary source of advice on health matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relevant payroll experience and sound knowledge of payroll related systems
  • Ability to prioritise and adapt easily, with great time management skills
  • Keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant NZ legislation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
